The 2010 NIT Championship game will feature the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Dayton Flyers Thursday April 1 at 7 pm. North Carolina reached the title game by beating the Rhode Island Rams 68-68 in overtime Tuesday. The Dayton Flyers beat Mississippi 68-63 to reach the NIT championship game.
If North Carolina beats Dayton in the title game, they will become the first Division I program to win the NCAA national title one year and the NIT title the next. The game will be played at Madison Square Garden April 1 at 7pm and can be seen on ESPN.
